Battle; his daughter-in-law Kathy of Macon; his sister Estella Murray-King of Macon; his sisters-in-law, Marie Bragg of Los Angeles, Evon Ervin of Washington, D. C. and Clarice Handy of Baltimore; his brother Edward Handy of Baltimore; and his brother-in-law Berry Waddy of Heathsville, VA. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and friends.
