He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Thomas; his parents, Ernest Clinton Thomas, Jr. and Linda Thomas; and his siblings, Sonny Thomas, Genevieve Jett and Betty Lou Packett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shelley Lackert and Stacey Smith (Shane); his grandchildren, Heather Lackert, Melinda Lackert (Ben) and Evan Smith; his great grandchildren, Nicholas Low and Matthew Cockrell; and his siblings, Harry Thomas and Peggy Allen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Corrottoman Baptist Church (48 Ottoman Ferry Rd, Lancaster, VA 22503). A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Corrotoman Cemetery.
