He was predeceased by: his daughters, Misti Dawn Triplet, Julie Triplet and Patty Price; and his brothers, Billy Triplet and Viles James Triplet, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Upchurch Triplet; his daughter Debra Kilmer; his siblings-in-law, Elmer Upchurch, Alma Haynes and Elizabeth Williams; his close friend Brad Hawks; and his great-nephews, Ben Coyne and Will Coyne. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Service (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Edwards-Upchurch Cemetery (1366 Chestnut Grove Rd, Lambsburg, VA 24351).
