He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie York and Mazie Surratt York; and his siblings, Betty Hull, Joy Jones, Annie Edwards, C. L. York, Alvin York, Roy York and Claude York.
He is survived by: his sister Lannie Lorson; and his niece Cindy Patino. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
