He is survived by: his son Corey Hardy of Texas; his aunt Mabel Newell; his siblings, Diane Blackwell (Louis), Carolyn Newell (Saundra Smith), Hilda Newell (Rosalyn Powell) and Reginald Newell (Rhonda); his aunt Laura Clay of Neptune; and his nieces and nephews, Tara Johnson (Steve), Tracey Crenshaw (Frank), Kem Smith, Sheree Smith, Rashonda Newell, Gary Smith (Yalanda), Tashawn Powell, Reginald Newell, Jr. (Samantha) and Derrick Brooks (Tiffany). He is also survived by great nieces, nephews cousins and many devoted friends.
