We bid farewell to Joanne Gleason Curry of La Crosse, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 21, 2025 at the age of 80. Joanne Gleason touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband David Clement Curry. She is survived by: her children, Cathy C. Winstead (John) of Brodnax, William D. "Bill" Curry (Jackie) of Weedsport, Jonathan D. "Jon" Curry (Susan) of La Crosse and Charles "Chuck" Curry (Amy) of La Crosse; her siblings, Deborah Rainbow (Bruce) of Mexico and Charles Gleason (Lorrie) of Skaneateles; her grandchildren, Solene, Miranda, Zachary, Caleb and Callie; and her great grandchild Brayden.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory (1504 N Mecklenburg Ave, South Hill, VA 23970). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Crosse Cemetery.
