He is survived by: his children, April Bottoms of Henderson, NC, Angela Skojec of South Hill and Robert Tate Smith of South Hill; and his sisters, Frances Bell of South Hill, Leona Robertson of South Hill and Linda Smith of La Crosse. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
