He is survived by: his partner Terry Whittaker; his son Robert Leslie Figg IV (Amanda Barnett Figg); his grandchildren, Scarlet Grace Figg and Hazel Dawn Figg; and his siblings, Martha Cole Williams and William Cary Figg.
