She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Gravatt and Thomas Campbell; her husband Dr. John Ray Burton; and her son Thomas E. Burton. She is survived by: her children, John R. Burton, Jr., William R. Burton and Janet B. Holloway; and her siblings, Linda C. Cross and Erwin M. Campbell. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children.
