With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Paris Elswick of King George, Virginia, who passed away on December 11, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Joe Paris is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joe Paris' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his children, Patti Clark Madsen, Joe Elswick, Jr., Robert Elswick, Jimmy Elswick and Anthony Elswick; and his brother Boyd Elswick. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Storke Funeral Home (11089 James Madison Pkwy, King George, VA 22485). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (3702 Loren Dr, Fredericksburg, VA 22408).
