It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Gruen (King George, Virginia), who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lawton Stukey and Melva Stukey; her son David Ray Gruen; her parents-in-law, Gertrude Walker and Karl Gruen; her siblings-in-law, Gerry Gruen, Henry Gruen and Eleanor Rosenblum; and her nephew Stanley Gruen.
She is survived by: her husband Robert W. Gruen; her daughters, Barbara Wilks and Kathleen Gruen; her daughter-in-law Patricia Gruen; her grandchildren, Meg, Hollis Pultz, Daune, Jon Hyams, Janelle and Mark Huffman; her great grandchildren, Hannelore Pultz, Dana Pultz, Jasper Hyams, Raquel, Anthony Brown, Joele Davenport and Gage Davenport; her great great grandchildren, Benjamin Brown and Bailey Brown; her brother Gene; her sisters-in-law, Carol Stukey and Bea Gruen; her nieces, Debbie Gruen and Jane Gruen; and her nephew Doug.
