Wilson Lee Throckmorton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2025, at the age of 83, Wilson Lee Throckmorton (Kilmarnock, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Carol Throckmorton; his brother Robert "Bob" Throckmorton; and his parents, Joseph Throckmorton and Louise Throckmorton. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Laura Gauntt (Charles) of Richmond and Gary Throckmorton (Caroll) of White Stone; his grandchildren, Katrina, Garrett Gauntt of Richmond, Wilson and Parker Throckmorton of White Stone; his stepchildren, Pamela Wray and Bert Short (Melissa); his stepgrandchildren, Lauren Meyer (Austin), Caroline Gilmore (Trip), Reynolds Short and Cathryn Short; his sister-in-law Donna Throckmorton; his niece Melissa Taylor (Jason); his nephew Travis Throckmorton; his great-niece Ava Throckmorton of Richmond; and also Scarlett Meyer.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Currie Funeral Home (116 E Church St, Kilmarnock, VA 22482). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wicomico Parish Church (5191 Jessie Ball Dupont Hwy, Wicomico Church, VA).
