He was predeceased by: his sister Margaret Gaskins James; and his parents, Gilliam Eugene Gaskins and Margaret Moore Gaskins. He is survived by: his nephews, Bob James and Tom James; his great-niece Scottie Fernandez; and his great-nephew James Fernandez.
