He was predeceased by: his wife Emily Jett Haynie; and his siblings, Florence Haynie, Jimmy Rizert and Thomas Haynie. He is survived by: his sons, Richard W. Haynie, Thomas Sutton Haynie (Juanita) and David R. Haynie (Norma); and his grandchildren, Jason Haynie, Olivia Haynie, Mindy Nolen (Allen) and Celina Haydon (Colie). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
