He was predeceased by: his son Tim Thomas; his parents, Nellie Thomas and Broadus Thomas; and his siblings, Andrew, Timothy and Cecilia Lee.
He is survived by: his significant other Peggy; his sisters, Nan Vest and Donna Merrick; his sister-in-law Liz Park; and his adoptive sons, Gary Wilkins (Carolyn) and David Wilkins (Wanda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
