It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Dunaway of Kilmarnock, Virginia, who passed away on June 10, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lawrence Dunaway to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Tankard Dunaway and Ella Stuart Dunaway; his siblings, Lillian Dunaway Potter, Nettie "Pearl" Dunaway McNeal and Clyde Wayne Dunaway; and his nephew Sgt. William Steven Potter.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Martin Dunaway; his children, Michael Stuart Dunaway (Jenny) of Lancaster, Mark Carlson Dunaway (Miguel) of North Baldwin, Marcelle Dunaway Greene (Bob) of Mechanicsville and Melissa Jean Dunaway of Virginia Beach; his grandchildren, Christian Anthony, Ian Dunaway, Brandon Dunaway, Meghan Anthony and Tyler Dunaway; his brother Bobby Dunaway (Helga); his sister-in-law Janet C. Worsham (Wes); and his stepsons, Hugh Kelley (Caroline) of Canton, MA and Hurst Kelley (Jennifer) of Richmond. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
