He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Albert Dawson and Violet Mae George Dawson; his wife Marjorie Dawson; his granddaughter Jeanie Klein; and his brothers, Benjamin L. Dawson, Clarence H. Dawson and Daniel D. Derr.
He is survived by: his children, Theodore Wright (Lynn), Stacey Dawson, Carolyn Hysan (Bob) and Wanda G. Wilson (Bud); his grandchildren, David Dawson, Pamela Jett (Lawrence), Brandy Robinson, Wayne Robinson, Scotty Klein, Kelly Rucker, Johnny Wright (Tina), Mike Garrett, Johnny Garrett, Kim Richmond, Wanda Teeter and Steve Wright; and his sisters, Bessie Mae Georgianna, Linda Madeline Alvis and Anna Ticer. He is also survived by 24 great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren.
