He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete McNeal and Orpha Forrester Gill McNeal; his wife Elizabeth Ann Dawson of July; his stepmother Florence Gough McNeal; his brother Pernell Gilliam McNeal; and his half-brothers, Wayland Riley Gill and Herman Sandby Gill.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah (Jon Lundberg) of Rocky Mount, NC and Dona McNeal (Jerry Weber); his grandchildren, Lori Anderson, Eric Lundberg, Gregory Price, Jr. and Elizabeth Price; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Alice Anderson, James, Isabella Lundberg, Ayden Scott and Dale PriceSmith; his sister Sylvia McNeal Davis; and his sister-in-law Lois Dawson. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.
