He was predeceased by: his wife Ella Mae Long Turlington; his sons, Edwin Andrew Turlington and Elwood Thomas Turlington, III; his parents, Elwood Turlington and Charlotte Turlington; and his sister Lois Powers Turlington.
He is survived by: his wife Mickie Veach Turlington; his daughters, Cheryl Lynn Adams (Brent) of Lexington and Sarah Martinez (Rudy) of Pensacola, Florida; his sister Bonnie Pettey (Larry) of Irvington, Virginia; his stepsons, Lowell White and Douglas White of Camden, Indiana; his grandchildren, Ember Thompson (Kyle) of Pensacola, Private Hunter Adams of Fort Collins, Bralyn Adams of Lexington and Dallas Martinez of Pensacola, Florida; his great grandchildren, Owen Thompson and Paisley Thompson of Pensacola; and his children, Temple, Box and Ranson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
