He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil B. Whaley, Sr. and Thelma Bryant Wood. He is survived by: his children, Michael Scott Whaley (Jennipher) and Stacey Michele Whaley; his grandchildren, Emily Whaley, Jackson Whaley, India Veney, Kayla Veney and Nazir Veney; his great grandchild Bryan Hayes; his siblings, Pam Chapman, Debbie Yerby, Ray Whaley (Sandy) and Todd Whaley (Britt); and his son John Davenport. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
