He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman B. George and Charlotte C. George of Foxwells; and his sister Norma G. Arnett. He is survived by: his wife Lillian S. George; his daughters, Maggie Elbourn (Paul) of Miskimon, Leigh Ann George of Manns Harbor and N. C.; his sister Gail G. Huff; his brother-in-law Fred W. Stamm, III (Rose) of Richmond; and his grandsons, Joseph "Bailey" Elbourn and William Zachary "Zach" Elbourn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
