She is survived by: her husband Gene Mapes, Sr.; her sons, Gene, Jr. (Susan) and Scott Mapes (Andrea); her sister Angie Stephens (Brad) of Irvington; her sister-in-law Judy Mapes Schmidlapp; her grandchildren, Virginia, Anne, Elisabeth, Kathryn Mapes, Mackenzie, Madison and McGuire Saffin; her niece Jessica Schmidlapp Calcote; and her nephew J. G. Schmidlapp, IV.
