He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Hicks; his brothers, Billy Ray Hicks, Lonnie B. Hicks, Willie T. Hicks, Bennie L. Hicks and Lenwood N. Hicks; and his sister-in-law Doris J. Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Lois C. Hicks; his son Ronnie D. Hicks Kathleen; his grandsons, Santana Tatro Susie and Bryan A. Hicks Erica; his great grandchild Paisley Faye Hicks; and his siblings, Miller Hicks Bettie, Raymond L. Hicks, Betty H. Church Freddie, Lucy H. Evans Bill and Edith H. Martin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
