He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances Schumann Wilkerson; his children, Patricia W. Barton, Cynthia W. Dixon (Bobby), Jeanne W. Roark (Andy), Lewis E. Wilkerson, Jr. (Dawn) and Roland J. Wilkerson (Stacey); and his grandchildren, Andy Barton, Medina Trent, Robert Dixon, Billy Wayne Barton, Ryan Barton and Brian Barton. He was also cherished by great-grandchildren; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
