She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. Garnette and Mamie V. Garnette; and her siblings, Vivian Boyd, Conrad Garnette and Sylvester Garnette.

She is survived by: her nieces, Terri Covington, Sheila Griffin and Kelly Barker; and her nephew Randy Garnette.
