We bid farewell to Ashley Neal Watson of Keysville, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 9, 2024 at the age of 81. Ashley Neal touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Alfred Watson and Gloria Neal Watson; and his wife Bernadine "Bunny" Fowlkes Watson. He is survived by: his daughter Kristie Watson; his niece Myelle Watson of Baltimore, MD; his great-niece Myesha Gaines of Drakes Branch, VA; and his friends, Evelyn Watson of Meherrin, VA, Diane McCargo of Keysville, VA, Leroy Hurt (Baltimore, MD), Peter Getz of Fredericksburg, VA, Eddie Flipping of Green Bay, VA, Charlie Moore of Keysville, VA and Wesley Reid of Meherrin, VA. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Jeffress Funeral Home, Inc. (227 Thomas Jefferson Hwy, Charlotte Court House, VA 23923). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Forest Baptist Church (1097 Meherrin Rd, Meherrin, VA 23954). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Mt. Ellis Baptist Church Cemetery (8409 George Washington Hwy, Keysville, VA 23947).
