She was predeceased by: her parents, Mona Poff and Z. F. Mayberry; and her sisters, Mary Mayberry Shoda and Margaret Mayberry Weatherford. She is survived by: her son Jim Elmore (Jan); her grandson Seth; her stepgranddaughter Genevieve; her brother James S. Mayberry, Sr.; her nephew Pastor Scott Mayberry (Lynn) of Athens; her niece Lynn Mayberry Hanchock (Don) of Princeton; her great-nephews, Dr. Dustin Hanchock (Jessica) and Todd Hanchock of Nashville, Tennessee.; and also, Kayleigh, Bryson and Trenton.
Due to the COVID-19 virus, only Ruth's family with gather for graveside rites.
