She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd James Morris and Effie Mae Morris (Harris); her brothers, Thomas Dudley Morris and Lloyd James Morris; and her daughter Crystal McCauley Powell.
She is survived by: her husband Sherman H. Snead (Bud); her stepsons, Michael A. Snead and Ronald D. Snead (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Jennifer L. Franklin, Lanserr A. Snead (William Hall), Sherman H. Snead, II (Stephanie) of Charlottesville and Travis D. Snead (Susan) of Baltimore, Maryland; her great grandchildren, Brianna Franklin, Ruby Rose Snead, Jackson Hall, Riley Snead, Ayumi Snead and Ella D Snead; her son-in-law Steven Powell; her grandchildren-in-law, Eric, Kristina, Jennifer, Michael, Katelyn and Megan; her sisters, Evelyn Moore (Tom) of Catawba, Frances Boone of Elgin and Doris Thompson (Bert) of Blue Ridge, Georgia; and her daughters-in-law, Monika Snead, Elaine Helmick and Vickie Thomas of Charlottesville, Virginia. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
