McDuffie of Wilmington; his siblings, Lou Anne Boatwright (Roy Boatwright) of Wilmington, Christopher Stancil (Anne Stancil) of Arlington and Amy McDuffie-Blackett (Mike Blackett) of Springfield; his stepson Christopher P. Brown (Virginia) of Charlottesville; his children, Kathryn Herman (Nathan Herman) of Pringel, Emily Stancil, Caroline Stancil, John N. Stancil (Rosie Stancil) and Adam J. Stancil (Madison Stancil); and his nieces and nephews, Kellie Boatwright, Isobel Blackett, Scott Stancil, Tyler Stancil and Ian Blackett. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
