It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Solomon Cronk of Keswick, Virginia, born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on January 6, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cronk and Gay Cronk. He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his daughters, Ann Weidman (Eddie) of Scottsville and Sarah Defosses (Andrew) of Palm Harbor, Fla.; his grandchildren, Michael Weidman, Megan Weidman, George and William Defosses; his great grandchildren, Dacoda, Michael, Alden, Rosie, Aubrie and Eli; his siblings, Fred Cronk of Troy and Vera Porter of Newport News; his siblings-in-law, Marie Wilkerson and Vernon Wilkerson; and his close friends, Jeff Hutchinson, Ernest "Blue" Bomar and Gary Campbell.
