He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sherman Ganoe and Kathleen Johnson; and his stepfather Macon Johnson. He is survived by: his stepbrothers, Mike Hensley and Tim Johnson; his children, David Ganoe (Emily) and Nicole Ganoe (Eric) of Washington; his grandchildren, Aiden, Garrett, Brielle, Brooklen, Eric and Zeger; his siblings, Patty Simpson (Willard), Rita Pippin (Roy), Carol Smith (Dale), Phyllis Ganoe, Charlie Ganoe and Steve Ganoe (Kay); and his stepsiblings, Speed Johnson, Dennis Johnson and Jeanette Wilkerson.
