He is survived by: his wife Ann Layman Gooch; his children, Della Vache of Frederick, Anita Schrunk (Tony) of Glen Allen and Neil Gooch (Michelle) of Keswick; his sister Mildred Parker (Mickey) of Scottsdale, Ariz.; his brother-in-law Frank Layman of Charlottesville; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Julia Vache, Claire, Carter, Caden Schrunk, Kirsten Frazier, Brooke Deane, Skyler Breeden and Forest Gentry.
