It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Gibson Sipe (Keswick, Virginia), born in Cismont, Virginia, who passed away on April 7, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Gibson and Virgie Gibson; and her son Monte Short (Poncho). She is survived by: her children, Brenda Short of Gordonsville, Steve Short (Sherry) of Stanardsville and Rodney Sipe (Theresa) of Keswick; her siblings, Rogers Gibson, Gene Gibson and Joice Payne; and her grandchildren, Chris Lamb, Amy, Monte, Kendall, Kelsie Short, Tony, Jeddiah and Tyler Sipe. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
