He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Garten Hunter; his sister Ruth Sanders (John Jacob Sanders); and his grandparents, Dorsie Cyrus Garten and Annie May Garten Pack. He is survived by: his wife Susan H. Hunter; and his daughter Mary Elizabeth Hunter.
