It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Disney (Keokee, Virginia), born in Pennington Gap, Virginia, who passed away on July 4, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Carl and Mary Jane Disney; his siblings, Barbara Robinette, Phyllis Bryant, Melba Lou Means, Wanda Disney Anders, Marie Disney, Carl Flanigan and Daniel Disney; and his grandson Corey Quillen.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Disney; his children, Sheila Quillen (Mack) of Woodway, VA, Walter P. Disney (Jamie) of Batavia, OH and Kenneth Disney (Tina) of Keokee, VA.; his grandchildren, Ryan Disney (Tiffany) of Batavia, OH, Savana Disney of Batavia, OH, Santana Disney of Batavia, OH, Rebecca Coomer (Daniel) of Ocoonita, VA, Dustin Disney, Aaron Disney, Kandace Quillen, Seth Quillen, Brittney Hileman and Austin Stapleton; his great grandchildren, Alison Coomer, Kristian Bruce, Parker Hileman and Landon Mason; his sisters, Betty Asbury of Winchester, KY, Patricia Kelly of Winchester, KY and Elsie Clark (Larry) of Pennington Gap, VA; his aunt Lula Johnson; his uncle Kenneth Flanigan; and also, Shirley and Wilma. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Odd Fellows Cemetery for the upkeep of the cemetery.
