He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Theodore Holmes and Gladys Bledsoe Holmes; his grandson Noah Alexander Clark; his brothers, Johnny Holmes (Eileen Jabroski) and Gary Holmes; his nephews, Johnny "Hopper" Holmes and Joey Clinton Holmes; and his niece Jackie Holmes.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Christy M. Clark (Brandon) of Kingsport, TN and Jason Holmes (Rachel); his grandchildren, Harley Hood, Alley Clark, Dalton Holmes, Talon Holmes and Shyla Holmes; his brother Roy; his sisters-in-law, Brenda Holmes of North Benton, OH and Doris Holmes of Keokee, VA; and his brother Bob (Teresa Fleming). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.
