He was predeceased by: his father William E. Thompson. He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth Possehl of Torrance, CA; and his daughters, Linda Gorhan (Charles) of Hendersonville, NC and Deborah Hensly (Riley) of Virginia Beach, VA. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
