It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Gaither Whitmore (Kenbridge, Virginia), who passed away on March 10, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Mae Gaither (Flippin) and Radford Arlington Gaither; and her husband Richard Lee Whitmore. She is survived by: her children, Martha Anne Gilliam (Statham) of Boone and Richard Lee Whitmore, Jr. (Melva) of Kenbridge, Virginia.; and her granddaughters, Elizabeth Sterling Gilliam Hedgepath (Capron) and Mary Patricia Gilliam.
