He is survived by: his wife Gloria Arthur Matthews; his children, Haynie Matthews and Sallie Rogers (Robby); his grandchildren, Cierra, Cameron, Nathan of Georgie, BJ and Riley; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Onyx; his mother Virginia Peebles Matthews; and his brother Jimmy Matthews.
