Michael MacWelch Sr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2020, at the age of 88, Michael MacWelch Sr. of Kenbridge, Virginia, born in Seat Pleasant, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Macwelch and Patty Macwelch; his siblings, Glen Royce "Pete" Macwelch, Debbie Thompson of Payson, Utah and Richard Patrick "Pat" Macwelch (Evelyn) of Warrenton; his son Michael Macwelch, Jr.; his grandsons, Dylan Macwelch of Matthews and Lucas Manning of Matthews; his daughter Sandie Macwelch; his grandson Joseph Michael Confrey of Lanham, MD; his sons, Terry Macwelch of Crownsville, MD and Billy Andrews (Cecilia); his grandchildren, Nathan Andrews of Crewe, VA, Hailey Andrews of Crewe, VA, Alex Andrews of Crewe, VA, Kevin Andrews of Crewe, VA and Michael; and his daughter Robin L. Gilmer.

He is survived by: his brothers, Freddie Macwelch and Aubrey Rollins Macwelch; his grandchildren, Pepsi Pearson, Brandy Gilmer, Jeremy Gilmer and Caleb Gilmer; his great grandchildren, Tylier Collier, Britney Comer, Brooke Comer, Dylan Pearson and Madison Pearson; his daughter Michele Macwelch; his grandson Christopher Hull; and also Lucca Collier.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
