She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Douglas Atkins; and her brother Calvin Dennis Hancock. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Loftis (Lee), Barbara Dorton (Gary) and Douglas "Dink" Atkins (Jessica); her grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Kyra Dorton, Dakota Atkins and Levi Atkins; and her siblings, Harold Hancock, Gary Hancock and Wilma R. Townsend.
