She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Mayton and Mary Lou Mayton; her husband Robert Samuel Smith; her son Robert Samuel "Smitty" Smith, Jr; and her grandchildren, Larry Ray "Rooster" Prue and Erica Michelle Daniel.
She is survived by: her daughter Virginia; her son-in-law Larry Prue; her granddaughter Virginia P. Tripp; and her great grandchildren, Robbie Daniel, Tiffany Guilliams, Cody Prue and Samantha Prue. She is also survived by 9 great-great grandchildren.
