He was predeceased by: his parents, Llewellyn Landon Snead, Jr. and Hazel Thomas Snead; and his close friend David Dorn Belcher. He is survived by: his sisters, Elizabeth Ann Poole, Mrs Betty May Farrar and Nancy Thomas Chappell. He is also survived by three nephews and two nieces.
