She was predeceased by: her father Edward Garland; her husband Samuel Preston Hart; and her siblings, Edward Garland Stokes Jr., James Jackson Stokes, Agnes Stokes Richardson and Judith Stokes Barnes.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Dr. Letcher Barnes; her children, Ann Hart Gisch (Robert), Garland Stokes Hart, Sallie Hart Yaskin (Terry Meier) and Margaret Hart Lightfoot; her grandchildren, Preston Gisch (Elizabeth Loerke), Andrew Gisch, Jonathan Hart, Jay Yaskin, Peter Yaskin (Lindsey), Christopher Lightfoot (Christa), Bethany Coggin (Chris) and Whitney Lightfoot; and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Amelia Lightfoot, Zack and Jake Coggin.
