He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert and Elizabeth Jackson Tisdale; and his grandparents, Alice Crowder Tisdale, Samuel, Emma Jane Johnson Jackson, Sam, Charlie, Nick Tisdale and Mary T. Reese.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Johnson Tisdale; his son Ray Wayne Tisdale (Sheila); his sister Patricia Bectom of North Carolina; his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth H. Tisdale, Susie Daniels, Otis Reese of Kenbridge, Virginia and Cleveland Johnson of Kenbridge, Virginia; his granddaughter Ashley Tisdale; and his friends, Covington, Nannie Isaac, Mae Smith, Shirley Smith, R. N. Samantha, Debra Craven, Otis Reese, Rosco Reavis and C. N. A. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
