Thackston; his daughters, Angie McGhinnis (Bobby) and Stephanie Foster (Billy); his stepsons, Robby Moore and Kevin Moore (Megan); his grandchildren, Brandi, Billy, Chris, Sam, Joseph, Timothy, Madisyn, Kailey, Judd and Gracie; and his siblings, Audrey T. Otey (Claude) and H. Alton Thackston (Pat).
