It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Atkins Compton (Kenbridge, Virginia), who passed away on April 22, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Whitlow Compton; and her son Steven Shelton. She is survived by: her children, Connie Shelton, Ronnie Atkins and Debbie Smith (Bill) of Victoria, VA.; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Smith, Trey Smith, Sammie Hungate, Stevie Hungate, Angie Woody, Renee Woody-Hair, Crystal Atkins, Shane Atkins and Lindsey A. Hayer. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
