He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Brooks Thompson and Earcelle Crafton Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Farmer Thompson; his siblings, Phyllis T. Driggs, Kenneth Thompson (Neva), Cecil Thompson (Shelby), James Thompson (Sandy) and Bobby Thompson (Brenda); and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Trainham and Donald Farmer (Joyce). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.
