She is survived by: her children, Janie Skelton of Victoria, Jean Jennings of Kenbridge, Ann Lawson (Franky) of Henderson and John Phillips (Bonnie) of Victoria; and her sister Sylvia Abernathy of Brunswick. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blackstone Chapel of the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home Tuesday (1826 Cox Rd, Blackstone, VA 23824). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blackstone Chapel of the Joseph McMillian Funeral Home (1826 Cox Rd, Blackstone, VA 23824). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Jonesboro Baptist Church Cemetery (1955 Jonesboro Church Rd, Blackstone, VA 23824).
