He was predeceased by: his mother Lucy Rebecca Hudson; and his brother Lloyd Carrington Hudson, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Skelton Hudson; his children, Rebecca H. Jenkins (Mark) and Charles Jr. (Crystal); his grandchildren, Ashley Barnes (Jeff), Randy Conner (Lauren), Jordan Thomas Hudson and Amber Nichole Lucy; his great grandchild Ryan Lee Barnes of Kenbridge; and his brother William "Billy" Hudson (Barbara) of South Hill. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
